Fertility treatment can be a very difficult life experience, both physically and emotionally. Professional psychological support allows us to face the difficulties with greater strength and understanding.
At HC Fertility, we offer a psychological support service specialised in assisted reproduction, so that you can go through this process more calmly and have the right tools to be able to manage everything that a fertility treatment entails.

Providing you with a space for listening, understanding and support where you can verbalise your feelings and better understand the different phases of the process.

The choice of fertility technique, the acceptance of options that were not previously considered, and the determination of how many attempts to make, are important decisions that can place a lot of pressure on you. Psychological support helps you make decisions more consciously.

We work on cognitive and emotional strategies so that you can better manage anxiety, fear, sadness or frustration, and to help you take care of yourself throughout the journey.

In fertility, there are different types of grief (genetic grief, grief over the motherhood you dreamed of, grief over a negative outcome, perinatal losses). We support you in going through these moments with respect and care.

A proper support also helps to make the relationship with the clinic more fluid and secure, favouring a positive bond with the teams involved.

Lowering anxiety and ambivalent emotions helps to experience the process in a more natural way and to reduce the risk of “throwing in the towel” as a result of emotional exhaustion.
We adapt to your needs and possibilities:
Format: Videoconference or Telephone.
Duration: between 45 and 60 minutes per session.
Frequency: it can be a one-off support session at specific times or a more continuous accompaniment throughout the process, depending on what you need.
Language: our psychologist specialised in assisted reproduction speaks Spanish, English and Italian.
Marco: The cultural, social and legal background of the context of each case will be taken into account.
Aimed at: women who wish to pursue motherhood as a single parent, as well as couples.
