1. Don't fight against your unpleasant emotions.

Feeling fear, worry, anxiety, sadness, etc., in these moments is normal given the very new circumstance you are experiencing.

2. Try to direct the energy towards something controllable.

Emotions are not manipulable, but our attitude towards life is, although we do not feel illusion or energy we can adopt a passive behavior that is characterized by waiting and complaining, or by an active behavior that sets daily goals and continues working.

Perform tasks that contribute positively to physical and mental health.

3. Opt for the routine.

Having an ordered life is synonymous with well-being, set a schedule for food, sports and rest, even if you are not currently working.

Invest this stage of your life in taking care of yourself, perhaps due to lack of time or reflection you had left behind many things that were interesting to you.

4. Don't forget about leisure and fun.

That we have encountered certain limitations during the lockdown does not mean that nothing can make us enjoy as before.

It is time to rediscover yourself and find playful activities that provide you with entertainment and satisfaction. Get excited with music, reading, crafts, cooking, sports, virtual or physical meetings, etc.

Take the opportunity to set new personal goals.

5. Maintain good communication with your loved ones.

Take time out of the day to share your experiences with other close people. It is important that you express how you feel, people need to feel support and empathy in others and talking about emotions with family or friends allows us to digest them more naturally and fluently.

6. Don't let yourself be carried away by the thoughts that control your life or the bad news.

Take the reins. Remember,  you are not your own thought, you are more than that, allow yourself to continue, although some physical sensations or thoughts hinder your way.
