Natural cycle in Embryo Transfer

The last phase of a fertility treatment is the embryo transfer. That is a key moment to the process.
The embryo transfer must be done on a specific period of the cycle, when the woman’s reproductive system is in optimal condition for implantation.
It is generally done with the help of medication (hormones – estrogens), which prepares the woman’s endometrium to receive the embryo.
However, in some cases, there is the possibility of prescind from hormones and, of course, their side effects.
We respect women´s natural cycle * requires previous case studying
At HC Fertility we assess each case in a personalized way, so we are able to offer the possibility of carrying out the embryo transfer with a natural cycle, (without hormones for the endometrium´s preparation).
The only medication used are HCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) to induce ovulation and perfectly synchronize the transfer process, and progesterone to help with the embryo´s implantation .

PERSONALIZED TREATMENTS FOR YOU
Does natural cycle have the same chances of success as the substitute cycle?

Yes, it has the same chances of success as the substitute cycle (cycle with drug use).
Obviously, it is a treatment that is carried out when there are frozen leftover embryos from an IVF-ICSI cycle.
In which cases would natural cycle be indicated?

The only requirement that needs to be fulfilled to be eligible for a natural cycle is to have regular periods.
