Does the orgasm in a woman increase the chances of getting pregnant?
Researchers at the University of Manchester, UK, have been able to find evidence of the existence of some sperm in the post-coital flow of the woman who had had at least one orgasm. The opposite occurs with the participants who did not reach it.
This finding seems to show that the man’s semen remains inside his partner’s body for a longer time if he has reached the climax during the sexual relations that both have previously maintained.
For its part, another German study, conducted by the Universities of Erlangen and Gottingen, found that uterine contractions are the main method to transport sperm into the uterus. Why? Because these contractions seem to help this fluid not only enter the uterus, but also to the mature ovarian follicle, making it more likely that the woman will become pregnant.
